Our Roots

NW Concrete Experts was founded by Colby Atkinson,

a veteran with a deep commitment to quality and service. With roots in a Zen Buddhist community in New York and a career that includes two deployments with the US Marines, Colby’s journey has been one of discipline, dedication, and transformation. After returning from tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, Colby combined the structure and skills gained from his military service with the craftsmanship learned from apprenticing under a third-generation Italian stone mason.

This unique blend of experiences laid the foundation for NW Concrete Experts, a company built on the principles of hard work, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. Today, Colby leads a team that embodies these values, bringing a level of expertise and care to every project that is unmatched in the industry.
